Supervisor Susan L. Adams is preparing to release disclosure documents including travel records with respect to trips to Washington, DC, Community Benefit Fund Grants, minutes, reports of community meetings concerning Marinwood and other documents from her tenure in office at the request of opponent Kerry Mazzoni’s campaign. She has asked that Mazzoni provide comparable documentation.
Most of the records Mazzoni’s campaign asked for are already available online and have been widely reported in the Marin Independent Journal and other press over the years.
“I’m happy to comply with this request” said Adams, “I think it is a good idea for both of us to compile documents of interest to the public in one place for voters and the press to review.”
Adams made her request during a League of Women Voters debate taped on May 1 which will air on channel 27 over the next few weeks. In it, she called for Mazzoni to release information about the full compensation package received while serving as an elected and appointed state representative, travels outside of the state and abroad while serving, travel expenses paid for or reimbursed by the tax payers or organizations, identity of all donors to her Assembly campaigns and her present campaign, not just those over $100 which is required by the Fair Political Practices Commission.
Adams discloses the names of all of her donors, not just those required.
